ME(N)TAL

Promoting decent and holistic OHS strategies in Slovak undertakings

Objective

The project seeks to provide better access to decent working conditions of Slovak employees. In addition to existing OHS policies, the holistic approach is required by adopting higher mental health care standards in industry which will improve social and living standards and promote fair and decent working conditions in Slovakia. Social partners have to be involved in processes to identify, prevent and mitigate threats to workers’ health, rights and welfare and to develop and implement sectoral and workplace responses to mitigate risks to exposure of COVID19 and metal health risk factors. ME(N)TAL project aims to strengthen fair and decent working conditions in Slovak metal industry and healthcare facilities under the COVID19 through tripartite dialogue with support of Norwegian expertise of FAFO.
