The content of the online meeting

  1. day              

The first day of the online meeting started in the morning with the registration of participants. They were welcomed by the project leader, Mr. Milan Beregszászi, who gave a short introductory presentation. He also led the discussion of the project program, work plan, activities and division of duties.

This was followed by the presentation of individual project participants, where everyone had the opportunity to briefly summarize their expectations. Mr. Milan Tóth, Mrs. Anna Junáková and Mrs. Iveta Harčariková took the floor .

Before the lunch break, Mr. Miloš Sabol – health and safety expert – gave a presentation. The topic was “Policy framework for decent conditions of mental health and safety according to existing OSH policies”.

After the break, Mr. Sabol continued with his second presentation on the topic “Risk factors for mental well-being at work related to the impact of COVID19 and better access to decent

working conditions of Slovak employees”.

The first day ended with a summary led by Mr. Beregszászi.

2. day

The second day of the online meeting was also opened by Mr. Beregszászi, who welcomed the participants and briefly summarized the first day.

The first topic was “Identification, prevention and mitigation of threats to the health, rights and well-being of workers” with working group experts.

Subsequently, the OSH expert discussed in his presentation ” Time constraints or work overload as one of the risk factors for psychological well-being at work”.

Another presentation before the lunch break was given by an expert on social dialogue, who discussed ways of “How to strengthen fair and dignified working conditions in the Slovak metal industry and medical facilities within the framework of COVID19 through a tripartite dialogue”.

After the break, the participants devoted themselves to determining the date of the next event, which will include two panel discussions in Košice – a 2-day event with the participation of 20 participants.

This was followed by a summary of the meeting led by Mr. Beregszászi .
